In this first full Yin practice, we explore the incredible capacity of your brain to rewire itself through conscious attention and intentional thought. Building on the metacognition skills from the intro class, you'll learn how repetitive thought patterns shape your reality and how you can consciously choose new patterns to support healing. During long, passive holds in hip-opening postures, you'll practice witnessing your habitual thoughts while gently introducing positive mantras inspired by Émile Coué's self-suggestion techniques. As your hips release physical tension, you'll simultaneously create space for new neural pathways in your mind. What you'll need: Yoga mat, 2-3 blocks (or books), bolster or pillows, blanket, comfortable clothing Props prepared, lights dimmed, and an open mind. Let's begin rewiring together.
